At the center of our Faith is the action of coming together as a community to celebrate the ultimate sacrifice of Christ as our Savior; this action is the celebration of the Eucharist, and in it we solidify our belief in being one community in the Body of Christ. Just as we share this incredible experience with each other during Mass, we also strive to build a community beyond the church doors.
"'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?' And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'"
- Matthew 25:37b-40
Jesus' words here remind us that caring for each other is an essential part of our faith; helping those in need is building God's heavenly kingdom here on earth. Join us as we become Christ's hands and feet and seek to aid God's creation.
