As the Easter season begins, we have the opportunity to continue the good deeds and service that we offered to our Lord during Lent. Maybe these offerings have started to become a way of life for us during the six long weeks of Lent. Or, maybe we struggled in fulfilling our hopes to become a better person during this period of sacrifice and penance. Whether or not we struggled in fulfilling our commitment, Jesus loves us, has suffered and died on the cross, and is risen from the dead so that we may be freed of all sin and evil and be welcomed into his Father's everlasting kingdom.
Take this opportunity to start fresh and perform the good deeds and service that Jesus taught us through his example. Make use of the resources on this web site to strengthen your faith through the daily readings and the lives of the saints found on the Spiritual Growth pages and the various Catholic links found on the eCommunity pages. Get into the habit of spending 15 minutes a day in prayer to our God and Savior through these simple, yet powerful readings.
May God bless you and continue to be with you, through the Holy Spirit, as you continue your journey of growing through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
