St. Michael's Shield (SMS) is a faith-based group that seeks to decrease self-harm and help active and retired law enforcement officers talk about the stresses of the job and how it affects our personal lives through Scripture, prayer and discussion. We are a confidential group of deputies, officers, troopers and feds that share the bond of Christ and seek to better our lives while continuing to make a difference in our communities. SMS meets the second Tuesday of the month.
